ACTIVITIES
1. Reviewed Pott’s Harbor issues
a. H/M will oversee hauling and
setting of docks
b. Dock will be set prior to
Memorial day and left in until Oct 15 th
c. Dates will be posted on the
Harbormaster Web Site
d. The float mooring system is being
updated this spring
e. Off season fall protection will
be reviewed
f. The setting of moorings and the
removal of abandoned moorings will be conducted in accordance with
the ordinance. Specific navigation and placement concerns will be
addressed by the Harbor Master. Moorings numbers are not given out
in sequential order and would not provide a valid basis for
prioritization.
g. The issue of dinghy’s being tied
to the town dock, in violation of the ordinance was discussed at
length. Jim Hays will explore the feasibility of several different
approaches that were discussed.
