Absent: Amy Haible, Jim Hays, Peter Darling, Bill Bartley, Scott Moody

Activities

1. Meeting called to order at 6:00 PM.

2. Minutes reviewed and approved

Harbormaster Report

1. None

Old Business

1. Reviewed and confirmed changes proposed to 2-23-07 ordinance at the 9-26-07 meeting.

a. Sections 1,2,3 – Okay as proposed with 9/26/07 changes

b. Section 4 – Definitions okay with 9/26/07 changes as proposed except -

i. Do we leave definition 4.7, “Floats, moored” in the proposed ordinance?

ii. “Riparian Owner” was replaced with “Shorefront”. Key education point.

iii. Eliminate “service mooring” from everywhere in the ordinace

c. Section 5 – Mooring Registration & Regulation with 9/26/07 changes except

i. 5.1.2. - Eliminate, all newly proposed text after “from the end of prior year.”

ii. 5.1.2.1 - Eliminate all newly proposed items 5.1.2.1 through 5.1.2.5

iii. Eliminate 5.1.7, “Use of Mooring”

iv. Eliminate 5.2.5, “Occasional Use of Mooring”

New Business

1. Moored Float - Is identification required and are they subject to registration? (Jim Hayes)

2. Research what septic requirements are required for rental moorings
