Activities
Meeting called to
order at 6:00 PM.
Len Duda has a
conflict with the Tuesday night meeting. We agreed to hold them
on Wednesday.

Taylor: Continue to review ordinance changes recommended by the
workshop.

Harbormaster’s
report:
Old Business
1. Reviewed progress by the
workshop committee on the ordinance revision. It will be completed and
voted on at the next meeting on December 13th.
New Business
1. Definitions: Section 4.
The list was alphabetized. Definitions for Marinas and Rental moorings
were added. Definition for Riparian owner was deleted.
2. Update the priority list:
a. Resident Commercial Fisherman. b. Resident Commercial Enterprise. c.
Resident Recreational. d. Non-resident Commercial Fisherman. e.
Non-resident Taxpayer. f. Non-resident Commercial Enterprise. g.
Non-resident Recreation.
3. Appeals: The wording of
Section 9 of the Proposed Draft for the March 9, 2002 Town Meeting is
acceptable. This replaces confusing appeals process references in
paragraphs 6.3.4, 6.3.5, and 7.3.
4. Section 5. Moorings: This
section is being getting an overhaul and is not complete. We edited much
of this section for wording, but we need the Harbormaster’s input in
order to complete this review. We are going to schedule an additional
meeting next week 12/13/06.
5. Section 6. Harbor and
Waterfront Committee: Deleted references to a calendar year. Terms will
start and end on April 1st.
6. Point of access
requirements: Passed until next meeting. The issues are; parking, town
landings, proof that a point of access exists, permission from owner,
and distance in miles.
7. We discussed steps to
publicize the committee’s recommendations. Develop a Power Point
presentation to present to the Selectmen, the Local TV station, and
public hearing.
