Round in Maine,"
Worm composting
is an indoor system for year-round composting of paper waste and
kitchen scraps. Thompson will demonstrate how worm bins work, and
answer common questions. Worms and worm bins will be available for
sale. Free informational handouts will be provided. Seating is
limited, so those interested in attending are encouraged to call the
store at 729-4050 to reserve a seat.

REGIONAL ORGANIZATIONS
The Hydrogen
Energy Center and kindred organizations will present a talk by Tom
Allen on the status and trends in US federal government renewable
energy policy, on Wednesday, January 9, 2008, at 7:00 PM, at the
Frontier Cafe in Brunswick. Congressman Allen serves on the House
Energy and Commerce Committee, which has jurisdiction over energy
issues.
